Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz tequila blanco
  • 0.75 oz mandarin juice
  • 0.5 oz Cointreau
  • 0.25 oz lime juice
  • 0.25 oz simple syrup
  • 2 thin slices jalapeño
  • Salt for rimming
  • Garnish: mandarin slice and jalapeño slice

Instructions

  • Run a mandarin wedge around the rim of a rocks glass, then dip the rim in salt. Fill the glass with ice and set aside.
  • Add tequila, mandarin juice, Cointreau, lime juice, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker.
  • Drop in the jalapeño slices, then fill the shaker with ice.
  • Shake vigorously for about 20 seconds.
  • Strain into the prepared glass.

Notes

Pro Tips
