Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz rum white or aged
  • 1 oz sake
  • 0.5 oz mango liqueur
  • 0.25 oz lemon juice
  • 0.25 oz Hawaiian chili water
  • 2 oz mango juice
  • 0.25 oz simple syrup
  • Few dashes tiki bitters
  • Garnish: pinch of hibiscus chili seasoning and mango slices

Instructions

  • Add rum, sake, mango liqueur, lemon juice, chili water, mango juice, simple syrup, and tiki bitters to a shaker with ice.
  • Shake well until chilled.
  • Strain into a glass over fresh ice.
  • Garnish with mango slices and a pinch of hibiscus chili seasoning on top.

Notes

Pro Tips

  • Use ripe mango juice for the best flavor fresh or high-quality bottled works great.
  • Adjust the chili water to taste depending on your spice preference.
  • If you don’t have hibiscus chili seasoning, Tajín makes a solid substitute.
  • Tiki bitters bring complexity, but regular aromatic bitters can be used in a pinch.
