2drops red and 5 drops yellow food coloringoptional
Instructions
In a medium saucepan, combine the orange juice, lemon juice, and honey. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
If using food coloring, add it to the mixture while it's simmering to achieve a spooky orange hue. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat and allow it to cool slightly.
While the mixture is simmering, crush the black non-pareils by placing them in a plastic bag and smashing them with a meat tenderizer or a heavy object, like a can of soup.
Spread the crushed non-pareils on a small plate. Dip the rims of your glasses into water or lemon juice, then press the rims into the crushed non-pareils to coat them with a spooky cobweb-like effect.
Pour 4 ounces of the juice mixture into each glass.
Top each glass with tonic water to create a fizzy finish.
Serve immediately and enjoy your spooky, festive mocktail!
