Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz tequila
  • 0.5 oz Cointreau
  • 2 oz lime juice
  • 0.5 oz agave syrup or simple sugar
  • 0.5 oz Sriracha sauce
  • 1 jalapeño pepper slice
  • Salt for rimming

Instructions

  • To salt the rim of the glass, spread a small amount of syrup mixed with Sriracha on a plate. Dip the rim of the glass into the Sriracha mix, then into a plate of salt to coat the rim evenly.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, then add tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, syrup and Sriracha sauce.
  • Shake vigorously until well chilled.
  • Strain the margarita into the prepared glass.
  • Garnish with a jalapeño wheel and serve immediately for a fiery, refreshing experience.

  • Adjust the amount of Sriracha based on your heat tolerance. Start with 0.25 oz and increase if you want extra spice.
