Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz apricot liqueur or apricot brandy
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 1/4 oz egg white optional for a frothy texture
  • Apricot slice or lemon twist for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Cocktail Shaker:

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

Add Ingredients:

  • Pour in the 2 oz of vodka.
  • Add 1 oz of apricot liqueur (or apricot brandy).
  • Squeeze and add 1 oz of fresh lemon juice.
  • Add 0.5 oz of simple syrup.
  • If desired, add 0.25 oz of egg white for a frothy texture.

Shake:

  • Shake the mixture vigorously for about 15 seconds to ensure the egg white (if used) is well combined and frothy.

Strain:

  • Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.

Garnish:
