1Fresh gingercut to the size of a penny and 1/4 inch thick
Orange slicesrosemary sprigs, and cinnamon stick for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Place the ginger, cinnamon stick, and cloves into an empty tea bag and pull the drawstring tight. If you don’t have a tea bag, tie the spices in a piece of cheesecloth.
Pour the cranberry juice into a saucepan. Add the tea bag of spices, orange juice, and apple slices to the pan.
Simmer the mixture over low heat for one hour, allowing the flavors to meld together.
After simmering, remove the tea bag or cheesecloth of spices from the pan.
Chill the mocktail in the refrigerator and serve over ice, garnished with an orange slice and a sprig of rosemary.
Serve immediately while warm, garnished with a cinnamon stick for an extra touch of warmth.
Notes
Pro Tips
Adjust the spice level by adding more or fewer cloves or cinnamon sticks according to your taste.
For an extra burst of flavor, add a splash of apple cider before serving.
If you prefer a sweeter drink, you can add a bit of honey or maple syrup during the simmering process.
