Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz blueberry vodka
  • 2 oz cream or milk
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • 1 oz blueberry pie syrup see recipe below
  • 0.5 oz pineapple juice
  • 0.5 oz lemon juice
  • Icing for rimming
  • Crushed graham crackers for rimming
  • Garnish: whipped cream and fresh blueberries

Blueberry Pie Syrup

  • 1 container of fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 lemon peel
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla paste

Instructions

Make the Blueberry Syrup:

  • Bring to a simmer while mashing the blueberriessimmer all ingredients for 10 minutes then turn off heat and let cool for another other 10 minutes. Strain out the juice and save for 2 weeks.

Prepare the Martini:

  • Rim a coupe or martini glass by brushing the edge with icing and dipping it into crushed graham crackers. Set aside.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine blueberry vodka, triple sec, blueberry pie syrup, pineapple juice, cream (or milk), and lemon juice.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake well about 15 seconds.
  • Strain into the prepared glass.
  • Top with a dollop of whipped cream and a few fresh blueberries.

Pro Tips

  • Chill your glass before rimming to help the icing stick better.
  • If using milk instead of cream, shake a little longer to make sure it's fully blended.
  • A fine mesh strainer will catch any pulp from the lemon juice if needed.
