This refreshing Lavender French 75 cocktail combines the floral notes of lavender with the crispness of sparkling wine and the botanical richness of Empress Gin, creating a visually stunning and delicious drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Empress Gin
  • 3/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 oz Lavender Syrup
  • Sparkling Wine or Champagne to top
  • Lemon Slices for garnish
  • Edible Flowers for garnish

Instructions

  • Chill the Glass:
  • Begin by chilling a flute or coupe glass in the freezer to ensure your cocktail stays cold.
  • Combine Gin, Lemon Juice, and Lavender Syrup:
  • In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the Empress Gin, fresh lemon juice, and lavender syrup. The Empress Gin will provide a beautiful, natural indigo color that's both alluring and delightful.
  • Shake Well:
  • Secure the lid on your cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds. This not only chills the mixture but also ensures that the ingredients are well-combined.
  • Strain:
  • Remove your glass from the freezer and strain the mixture into it, leaving enough room at the top for your sparkling wine or champagne.
  • Top with Sparkling Wine:
  • Gently pour the sparkling wine or champagne over the back of a spoon or directly into the glass to fill. This method helps maintain the cocktail's layers and fizz.
  • Garnish:
  • Carefully garnish your cocktail with a thin slice of lemon, resting it on the rim or floating it atop.
  • Add edible flowers for an extra touch of elegance and color. The flowers not only enhance the cocktail's visual appeal but also hint at the lavender's floral notes.
  • Serve and Enjoy:
  • Serve immediately, enjoying the balance of botanical, citrus, and floral flavors in this exquisite cocktail.
