Instructions
Prepare the Mango Puree:
Peel and chop a ripe mango. Blend it in a blender until smooth. Strain the puree to remove any fibers and ensure a smooth cocktail.
Mix the Cocktail:
In a shaker, combine the vodka, mango puree, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice, covering the liquid.
Shake:
Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds. The goal is to chill the mixture thoroughly and mix all the ingredients well.
Strain and Serve:
Strain the cocktail into a chilled glass. You can use a rocks glass or a coupe, depending on your preference.
Garnish:
Garnish with a slice of mango on the rim of the glass or float it inside. Add a few mint leaves for a touch of color and freshness.
