Ingredients
1cupgranulated sugar
1cupwater
1cupfresh mint leaves
Instructions
In a small saucepan, combine the water, sugar, and mint leaves.
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves.
Reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes, allowing the mint to infuse into the syrup.
Remove the pan from the heat and let the syrup cool to room temperature.
Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove the mint leaves.
