  • 1 oz pecan pie syrup
  • 1 tbsp spiced compound butter
  • 2 oz dark rum
  • 6-8 oz boiling water
  • Whipped cream optional, for garnish
  • Cinnamon stick optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Boil 8 ounces of water in a kettle or saucepan.
  • In amug, add the spiced compound butter, pecan pie syrup, and dark rum.
  • Pour the boiling water into the mug, stirring with a long-handled spoon until the butter fully dissolves and the ingredients are well combined.
  • Top with whipped cream, candied pecans, or a cinnamon stick for garnish, if desired.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy this warm, cozy drink.
