- 1.5 oz vodka
- 1 oz coffee liqueur
- 1 oz hot espresso
- 1 oz half and half
- 1/4 tsp cacao powder
- 1/4 tsp peppermint extract
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- Melted chocolate and crushed candy canes for rimming (Optional)
- A sprinkle of cacao powder and coffee bean for garnish
If rimming the glass, dip the rim in melted chocolate, then into crushed candy canes for a festive look.
Add vodka, coffee liqueur, half and half, cacao powder, peppermint extract, and vanilla extract to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Pour in the hot espresso as the final ingredient to keep the ice from melting too quickly.
Shake the mixture vigorously for 30 seconds until well-chilled and frothy.
Strain into the prepared martini glass.
Garnish with a light dusting of cacao powder and a few coffee beans.
