Ingredients

  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 2 ounces peppermint vodka
  • 1 ounce Irish cream liqueur
  • 1 ounce coffee liqueur
  • Crushed peppermint for rimming and garnish
  • 2 ounces chocolate syrup
  • Whipped cream optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, peppermint vodka, Irish cream, and coffee liqueur. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Add half of the crushed peppermint to the blender and pulse briefly to incorporate.
  • Set up two plates: one with a layer of chocolate syrup and the other with the remaining crushed peppermint. Dip the rim of a highball glass into the chocolate syrup, then into the crushed peppermint to coat.
  • Drizzle additional chocolate syrup along the inside of the glass for a decorative effect.
  • Pour the blended ice cream mixture into the prepared glass.
  • For an extra festive touch, top with whipped cream, a drizzle of chocolate syrup, and a sprinkle of crushed peppermint.

Notes

Pro Tips

  • Chill the glass in the freezer beforehand for a frosty experience.
  • Adjust the strength of the peppermint flavor by adding more or less crushed peppermint to the mixture.
  • Garnish with a mini candy cane on the rim for a playful holiday look.
