  • In a cocktail shaker, start by muddling a few slices of fresh plum to release their juices and flavor.
  • Add the lemon juice, bourbon, egg white, and simple syrup to the shaker.
  • Shake the mixture vigorously without ice (a “dry shake”) to emulsify the egg white and create a frothy texture.
  • Add ice to the shaker and shake again until the mixture is well-chilled.
  • Strain the cocktail into a glass. For a smoother texture, you can double strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy your Plum Bourbon Sour.
