Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle of dry red wine 750 ml
  • 8 ounces raspberry liqueur
  • 4 ounces brandy
  • 2 ounces simple syrup adjust to taste
  • 8 ounces raspberries
  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 1 lime sliced
  • 8 ounces soda water club soda or sparkling water

Instructions

Prepare the Fruit:

  • Rinse the fresh raspberries and set them aside.
  • Slice the orange, lemon, and lime into thin rounds, removing any seeds.

Mix the Sangria:

  • In a large pitcher, combine the red wine, raspberry liqueur, brandy, and simple syrup. Stir well to mix.

Add the Fruit:

  • Add the fresh raspberries, and the slices of orange, lemon, and lime to the pitcher. Stir gently to combine.

Chill:

  • Cover the pitcher and refrigerate the sangria for at least 2 hours, allowing the flavors to meld together. For best results, let it chill overnight.

Serve:

  • Just before serving, add the soda water to the pitcher and stir gently.
  • Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the sangria over the ice, making sure to include some of the fruit in each glass.

Garnish:

  • Garnish with additional fresh raspberries or a slice of citrus fruit on the rim of the glass, if desired.

Enjoy:

  • Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Raspberry Sangria.
