Ingredients

  • ounces bourbon
  • ½ ounce Tea Forté African solstice rooibos tea syrup
  • ¼ ounce Fernet Branca
  • 3 dashes of chocolate bitters
  • Orange peel for garnish

Instructions

  • In a mixing glass, combine the bourbon, African solstice rooibos tea syrup, Fernet Branca, and chocolate bitters.
  • Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir gently until well chilled and diluted (about 30 seconds).
  • Strain the mixture over a large ice cube in a rocks glass.
  • Express the oils from an orange peel over the drink by twisting it over the glass, then drop it in as a garnish.
