  • 3/4 ounce of simple syrup
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • About 5 to 7 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 mint sprig

Instructions

  • In your shaker, gently muddle the mint leaves with the simple syrup to release the mint's essential oils.
  • Add the gin and fresh lemon juice to the shaker, along with a generous amount of ice.
  • Shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker feels cold, about 15-20 seconds.
  • Strain the mixture into your chilled coupe glass.
  • Garnish with a mint leaf for that final touch of elegance, and enjoy.
