Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1.5 liters Moscato wine
  • ½ cup silver tequila
  • 11.3 ounces strawberry nectar
  • ½ cup fresh blueberries
  • ½ cup fresh strawberries sliced
  • ½ cup fresh raspberries
  • Additional raspberries for freezing optional
  • Lemon-lime soda optional for topping

Instructions

  • Prepare the Fruit:
  • Wash all the berries thoroughly. Slice the strawberries if they aren't already prepped.
  • Optional: Freeze some additional raspberries ahead of time to use as ice cubes in the sangria. This not only chills the sangria but also adds a burst of berry flavor as they melt.
  • Mix the Sangria:
  • In a large pitcher, combine the Moscato wine and silver tequila.
  • Stir in the strawberry nectar to mix well with the wine and tequila.
  • Add the fresh blueberries, sliced strawberries, and fresh raspberries to the pitcher.
  • Chill:
  • Let the sangria chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. This allows the flavors to meld together and the fruit to infuse the sangria with its flavors.
  • Serve:
  • Serve the sangria over ice. If using, add a few frozen raspberries to each glass for an extra touch.
  • Optional: For a fizzy sangria, top each glass with a splash of lemon-lime soda right before serving. This adds a refreshing effervescence.
  • Garnish and Enjoy:
  • Garnish with a sprig of mint or a slice of lime if desired.
  • Enjoy the light, fruity flavors of your Summer Berry Sangria.
