Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz gin
  • 0.5 oz Cointreau
  • 0.5 oz caramel syrup
  • 0.25 oz lemon juice
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • Hot boiling water to top
  • lemon wheel and star anise for garnish

Instructions

  • In a heatproof mug, add the gin, Cointreau, caramel syrup, lemon juice, and a dash of Angostura bitters.
  • Stir gently until all the ingredients are well mixed.
  • Carefully top up the drink with hot boiling water, leaving some space at the rim.
  • Float a lemon wheel on top and add a star anise for an aromatic touch. Serve warm and enjoy.
