Bira 91 White is a Belgian-style wheat beer with citrus, orange peel, and coriander notes. It’sIt’s similar to the Simba Wit above, but better for those who prefer to leave lemongrass for their food dishes instead of their beer. I appreciate the spicy finish to this beer, which pairs perfectly with savory dishes like chicken and lamb.
White Owl Torpedo Pale Ale
White Owl Torpedo Pale Ale is an American-style IPA with a hoppy, citrusy flavor and a light caramel maltiness. It’sIt’s the perfect beer for hop lovers looking for a flavorful beer with an ABV that remains relatively low (5%).
Maka Di Bavarian Keller
Maka Di Bavarian Keller is a bottom-fermenting lager with a golden glow and mild bitterness welcoming any time of year. This lager follows the “Reinheitsgebot,” a German law for measuring the purity of lagers, and it goes swimmingly with tandoori chicken or glazed pork ribs.

7 Rivers American Pale Ale is a delicious, balanced IPA from India. It has an intense hop flavor backed by light caramel malts and a slightly sweet finish. I love drinking this beer when I’mI’m looking for something with a bold flavor but manageable hops. I personally appreciate this American beer when I want something different but still familiar.
Kimaya Himalayan BeeYoung
Kimaya Himalayan BeeYoung claims to be India’sIndia’s first crafted strong beer, with an ABV of 7.2%. It has a bold flavor of toasted malt and light fruity notes. It’sIt’s ideal for beer fans looking for something with a more excellent kick because of its higher ABV but still maintains a refreshing, session-able taste.
Goa Brewing Eight Finger Eddie
Goa Brewing’sBrewing’s Eight Finger Eddie is a delightfully punchy IPA. It has a citrusy aroma and flavor, with light caramel malts and some floral bitterness to finish it off. I love this beer for its unique taste and balance of flavors, making it a perfect choice for those who love hoppy IPAs but don’t want anything too striking. I appreciate this type of beer for get-togethers with friends, especially on the weekends.
White Rhino IPA
Go for the White Rhino IPA if you want a more intense IPA. This is one of my favorite Indian beers, perhaps because it comes from India’sIndia’s first craft brewery. Nonetheless, it’s hard not to enjoy this balanced yet rich and hoppy IPA on a fantastic fall evening with friends. It simultaneously carries a traditional taste with a modern twist.
Kati Patang Bareilly Bold
Kati Patang brewery emphasizes the beauty of freedom, and their Bareilly Bold beer with earthy, herbal, and spirited notes makes you feel more accessible than ever. I love the subtle hint of spring Indian flower with every sip, and I highly recommend enjoying this lightly-bodied yet flavorfully bold beverage in the spring or summer.
Devans Godfather
Devans is an Indian brewery that crafts award-winning beers, and their Super beer from the Godfather brewery packs a mean yet enjoyable punch at 8% ABV. It’s strong yet inviting, smooth but with a malty kick, and perfect for those who like living (and drinking) just slightly on edge.
Haywards 5000
Honey, apple, malt, raisin, and rice pudding are the signature notes in the complex, dynamic beer that is Haywards 5000. It’s a strong beer that can be enjoyed slowly, allowing you to savor every flavor. It’s one of my favorite beers, and I highly recommend it to those looking for something with a unique flavor profile that’s still enjoyable.
