Ingredients
- 2 oz Bourbon
- 1/2 oz Simple syrup
- 10 pieces Fresh blueberries: For muddling and garnish.
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Orange peel for garnish
Instructions
- Muddle the Blueberries and Simple Syrup:
- In a mixing glass, add about 8 fresh blueberries and the simple syrup.
- Gently muddle the blueberries to release their juice and flavor, but be careful not to pulverize them into a complete mash.
- Add Bourbon and Bitters:
- Pour the bourbon and add two dashes of Angostura bitters to the mixing glass.
- Stir the Mixture:
- Add a few ice cubes to the glass.
- Stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds to combine the flavors while chilling the drink.
- Strain into a Glass:
- Strain the mixture into an Old Fashioned glass over a large ice cube to reduce dilution.
