Try a Chocolate Cherry Old Fashioned. Rich bourbon, cherry liqueur, and chocolate bitters in one smooth cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 1/2 oz cherry liqueur
  • 1/4 oz simple syrup
  • 2 dashes chocolate bitters
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • 1 cherry for garnish
  • Orange peel for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Glass:

  • Place a large ice cube in an Old Fashioned glass.

Mix the Cocktail:

  • In a mixing glass, combine the bourbon, cherry liqueur, simple syrup, chocolate bitters, and Angostura bitters.
  • Add ice to the mixing glass and stir until well-chilled.

Strain and Serve:

  • Strain the mixture into the prepared Old Fashioned glass over the large ice cube.

Garnish:

  • Garnish with a cherry and an orange peel. Express the orange peel over the drink by twisting it to release the oils, then drop it into the glass.
