Top 11 Reposado Tequilas to Try

reposado tequila shots with lime and salt

Reposado tequilas are aged for 2-12 months in oak barrels, which gives them a smoother, mellower flavor than silver or blanco tequilas. The aging process allows the tequila to take on subtle hints of caramel, vanilla, and oak from the barrels. Reposado tequilas strike a nice balance between the crisp agave flavors of blanco tequilas and the richer flavors of aged añejo tequilas.

If you enjoy sipping spirits but find unaged tequilas too sharp or añejos too oaky, the best reposado tequilas are a great option. Their warm, rounded characteristics make reposados very sip-able straight or on the rocks.

Please drink responsibly, be fully accountable with your alcohol consumption, and show others respect.
