SunnyD, the iconic American juice brand known for its unique tangy orange flavor, is set to launch a new product that combines two fan favorites: introducing SunnyD Vodka Seltzer.

The SunnyD brand, first created in 1963 by two Florida dads, has a history of innovation and growth. Since its acquisition by Harvest Hill Beverage Company in 2017, the brand has experienced a resurgence with over 30% growth since 2019.
Ilene Bergenfeld, Chief Marketing Officer at Harvest Hill Beverage Company, explained that consumers who already enjoy SunnyD as a mixer prompted the creation of the SunnyD Vodka Seltzer. The company saw an opportunity to bring something unique to the hard seltzer market, and the new product was born.
To test the taste and reception of the new product, SunnyD held a blind taste test. The results were overwhelmingly positive, with 57% of participants claiming it’s better than their usual hard seltzers and 85% stating it tastes unique. Additionally, 72% of participants agreed that the new Vodka Seltzer is different from other products currently on the market.
The new SunnyD Vodka Seltzer is perfect for enjoying with friends during social gatherings or when it’s time to unwind. Each 12oz slim can offers a bold orange flavor with 4.5% ABV, 95 calories, zero grams of sugar, and is made with real fruit juice.
Bergenfeld expressed excitement for adult SunnyD fans and hard seltzer enthusiasts to try the new product. The overwhelmingly positive feedback from taste tests suggests that the SunnyD Vodka Seltzer could be a game changer in the hard seltzer market.
