Ingredients
- 1.5 oz lemon juice
- 1.5 oz silver rum
- 0.5 oz simple syrup optional
- 0.75 oz blue curaçao
- 0.5 oz grenadine
Instructions
- In a shaker, combine simple syrup, lemon juice, silver rum, and blue curaçao. Add a few ice cubes.
- Shake well until the mixture is chilled.
- Strain into a cocktail glass filled with ice.
- Slowly pour the grenadine over the back of a spoon along the side of the glass. The grenadine will sink to the bottom, creating a layered effect.
- Slightly stir the bottom of the drink to create a dark purple layer, while keeping the top of the drink bright blue.
