Ingredients

  • 2 oz Patron Silver tequila
  • 0.5 oz velvet falernum
  • 1 cardamom leaf
  • 0.75 oz lime juice
  • 2 dashes orange bitters
  • Lime twist or cardamom leaf for garnish

Instructions

  • Lightly bruise the cardamom leaf or crush the cardamom pods to release their aroma. Add to a shaker.
  • Add tequila, velvet falernum, lime juice, and orange bitters to the shaker.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds to chill and infuse the flavors.
  • Double strain the cocktail into a chilled coupe or rocks glass over fresh ice.
  • Finish with a lime twist or a small cardamom leaf for an aromatic presentation.
