Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 3 oz cranberry juice
  • 1 oz blue curaçao
  • 0.5 oz corn syrup for rimming
  • Black lava salt for rimming

Instructions

  • To prepare the glass, pour corn syrup onto a small plate. Dip the rim of the glass in the corn syrup, ensuring the rim is fully coated.
  • On a separate plate, spread black lava salt. Dip the syrup-coated rim into the salt, pressing gently to adhere the salt evenly around the glass.
  • Fill the glass with crushed ice.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the cranberry juice, blue curaçao, and vodka with ice.
  • Shake well until chilled, then strain the mixture into the prepared glass over the crushed ice.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy the spooky fun!

Notes

Pro Tips

  • For a more dramatic presentation, drip the corn syrup down the sides of the glass for a “dripping blood” effect before adding the black lava salt.
  • If black lava salt is unavailable, black sanding sugar can be used as a festive alternative.
  • Chill the glass before rimming for an extra frosty effect.
