Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz apple juice
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 1 egg white optional, for a frothy texture
  • Apple slice and lemon twist for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients:

  • If you haven’t already, make your simple syrup by dissolving equal parts sugar and water over medium heat. Let it cool.
  • Juice your lemon if using fresh lemons.

Mix the Cocktail:

  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, apple juice, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white (if using).
  • Add ice cubes to the shaker.

Shake Well:

  • Shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds. If using egg white, give it an initial dry shake (without ice) for about 10 seconds, then add ice and shake again.

Strain and Serve:

  • Strain the mixture into a chilled rocks glass filled with ice.

Garnish:

  • Garnish with a slice of apple and a twist of lemon peel.
