Ingredients

  • 2 ounces cucumber vodka
  • 1 ounce elderflower liqueur like St-Germain
  • 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 3-4 slices cucumber
  • Club soda to top
  • Optional: cucumber slice for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Glass:

  • Chill a highball glass by placing it in the freezer for about 15 minutes or filling it with ice water and setting aside.

Muddle:

  • In a shaker, gently muddle the cucumber slices with the lime juice to release their flavor. Be careful not to pulverize the cucumber into bits.

Mix:

  • Add the cucumber vodka and elderflower liqueur to the shaker.
  • Fill the shaker with ice, covering the liquid.

Shake:

  • Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to combine all the flavors.

Serve:

  • Remove the pre-chilled glass from the freezer or empty the ice water.
  • Strain the mixture into the glass over fresh ice cubes to catch any cucumber bits.
  • Top with club soda for a slight fizz.

Garnish and Enjoy:

  • Garnish with a few cucumber slices or a sprig of mint on top.
  • Stir gently before serving to mix the flavors slightly.
