Enjoy a Mezcal Passion Fruit Cocktail tonight. Simple, refreshing, and perfect for any evening.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz mezcal or 1 oz mezcal and 1 oz tequila for a slightly different twist
  • Juice and pulp from 1 large passion fruit
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • ½ oz agave syrup adjust sweetness to taste
  • Garnish: Lime wheel passion fruit half, and a pineapple frond

Instructions

Prepare the Passion Fruit:

  • Cut the passion fruit in half and scoop out the pulp and seeds into a shaker.

Mix the Cocktail:

  • Add the mezcal (or mezcal and tequila), lime juice, and agave syrup to the shaker.
  • Fill the shaker with ice, covering the liquid and fruit pulp.

Shake:

  • Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to chill the mixture and blend the flavors.

Strain:

  • Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass. You can choose to double strain if you prefer to keep the seeds out of your drink.

Garnish:

  • Garnish with a lime wheel, a fresh half of passion fruit, and a pineapple frond for a tropical look.

Serve:
