Sweet peaches and fresh basil create a flavor of Peach Basil Margarita that's refreshing and aromatic.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz orange liqueur
  • 1/2 oz lime juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 1 oz peach puree
  • 4-5 fresh basil leaves
  • A slice of peach and a basil leaf for garnish

Instructions

  • In your shaker, gently muddle the basil leaves with the lime juice and simple syrup to release the basil's flavors.
  • Add the orange liqueur, peach puree, tequila, and a handful of ice.
  • Shake it well until it's cold.
  • Strain the mixture into your chilled rocks glass filled with ice.
  • Garnish with a peach slice and a basil leaf.
