Ingredients

  • 1.5 ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • 0.75 ounce orange liqueur
  • 0.5 ounce agave syrup for rimming the glass
  • strawberries
  • jalapeño slices
  • basil leaves
  • Salt for rimming the glass
  • Basil sprig for garnish

Instructions

  • In a cocktail shaker, muddle three strawberries and a few jalapeño slices with the agave until well combined.
  • Add the orange liqueur, tequila, lime juice, and basil leaves to the shaker.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously to chill and blend the ingredients.
  • Prepare rocks glass by brushing the rim with agave and dipping it into Himalayan salt.
  • Strain the mixture into the prepped glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Garnish with a strawberry, a few jalapeño slices, and a sprig of basil.
