Ingredients

  • 2-4 leaves fresh mint
  • ½ ounce simple syrup
  • 1 ½ ounces white rum
  • 1 ounce blue curaçao
  • ½ ounce lime juice
  • Soda water for topping
  • Lime slices and/or extra mint for garnish

Instructions

Muddle the Mint:

  • Place the fresh mint leaves and simple syrup in a glass.
  • Gently muddle (press) the mint leaves with a muddler or the back of a spoon to release their flavor.

Add the Liquids:

  • Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  • Pour in the white rum, blue curaçao, and lime juice.

Top with Soda Water:

  • Top off the drink with soda water, adjusting the amount to your taste.

Stir:

  • Stir the mixture gently to combine all the ingredients.
