The Pink Flamingo is a winter-inspired drink that delivers a cool and invigorating experience.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces white rum
  • 3/4 ounce lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 3 ounces pink grapefruit soda such as East Imperial
  • Lime wheel or long lime twist for garnish

Instructions

  • Fill a shaker with ice.
  • Add the white rum and lime juice to the shaker.
  • Shake the shaker until the ingredients are well-chilled.
  • Strain the mixture into a highball glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Top the mixture with the pink grapefruit soda.
  • Garnish the drink with a lime wheel or long lime twist.

Notes

The Pink Flamingo cocktail is a refreshing drink that is perfect for a hot summer day. The grapefruit soda adds a tangy flavor that complements the sweetness of the rum and lime juice. You can adjust the alcohol content of the drink by varying the amount of rum you use. For a stronger drink, you can use coconut rum or sloe gin instead of white rum. You can also add a splash of grenadine or sweet and sour mix to give the drink a fruity punch.
