  • Place the chopped or grated fresh ginger in a cocktail shaker, then add the lime juice and honey. Muddle the mixture well to release the ginger’s flavor.
  • Add the rum, cranberry juice, and ginger wine to the shaker with ice.
  • Shake thoroughly to blend and chill the ingredients.
  • Strain the mixture into a champagne coupe or flute over fresh ice.
  • Top up with ginger beer, as preferred.
  • Finish with a light dusting of freshly grated nutmeg and serve immediately
