Ingredients

  • 0.75 oz orange liqueur
  • 1 oz agave syrup
  • 1.5 oz tequila
  • Lime Juice
  • Kumquats halved
  • Strawberries sliced
  • Tajin for the rim
  • Sliced kumquat for garnish

Instructions

  • Brush the rim of your rocks glass with agave syrup and dip it into Tajin for a zesty coating. Set the glass aside.
  • In a cocktail shaker, muddle the halved kumquats and sliced strawberries until they are well mashed and their juices are released.
  • Add hot agave syrup, lime juice, orange liqueur, and tequila to the shaker.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake well.
  • Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Garnish with a few slices of kumquat.
