Ingredients

  • 2 oz tequila blanco
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz agave syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 oz strawberry puree fresh strawberries blended until smooth
  • 2 oz grapefruit juice fresh is best
  • Club soda to top
  • Fresh strawberries and grapefruit slice for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the Strawberry Puree:
  • Blend a handful of fresh strawberries until smooth to make the puree.
  • Strain if desired for a smoother texture.
  • Mix the Cocktail:
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, fresh lime juice, strawberry puree, grapefruit juice, agave syrup, and fill the shaker with ice.
  • Shake:
  • Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds or until the mixture is well chilled.
  • Prepare Your Glass:
  • Fill a highball glass with ice to keep your drink cool.
  • Strain:
  • Strain the mixture into the prepared glass over the ice.
  • Top and Garnish:
  • Top with a splash of club soda for a refreshing fizz.
