This Strawberry Tequila Fizz is perfect for a warm day or whenever you're in the mood for a fruity, bubbly cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces Sparkling Wine
  • 1 1/2 ounces Blanco Tequila
  • 1/2 oz Lime juice
  • 4 pieces Strawberries to muddle
  • 1/2 oz Agave Syrup

Instructions

  • Prepare the Strawberries:
  • Rinse and hull the strawberries, then slice them into quarters. You’ll need enough to get a good muddle, about 3-4 large strawberries.
  • Muddle the Strawberries:
  • In a cocktail shaker, add the quartered strawberries and agave syrup.
  • Muddle them together until the strawberries are well smashed and the syrup is mixed in, releasing all the juices.
  • Mix the Cocktail:
  • Add the blanco tequila and lime juice to the muddled strawberries and agave syrup.
  • Fill the shaker with ice, covering the liquid.
  • Shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to chill and combine the flavors.
  • Strain and Serve:
  • Strain the mixture into a glass filled with fresh ice to remove the strawberry pulp and seeds.
  • Top off the glass with sparkling wine, gently stirring to integrate without losing too much carbonation.
  • Garnish and Enjoy:
  • Garnish with a strawberry slice on the rim of the glass or a few lime wheels for a decorative touch.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing mix of tequila, lime, and strawberry with the effervescence of sparkling wine
