Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz tequila
  • 0.75 oz lemon juice
  • 0.75 oz agave nectar
  • 1 egg white
  • Rosemary sprig cranberries, and lime wedge (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Combine the tequila, lemon juice, agave nectar, and egg white in a cocktail shaker without ice.
  • Dry shake (shake without ice) vigorously for about 10 seconds to create a frothy texture.
  • Add ice to the shaker and shake again briefly, 2–3 times, until well-chilled.
  • Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with ice using a Hawthorne strainer. For an ultra-smooth finish, use a fine-mesh strainer as well.
  • Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary, a few cranberries, and a lime wedge for a festive touch.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Pro Tips

  • Ensure your shaker is sealed tightly before the dry shake to avoid any spills.
  • Use fresh citrus juice for the best flavor; bottled juice won’t provide the same brightness.
  • To enhance the rosemary garnish, gently clap it between your hands to release its aromatic oils.
  • For a perfectly frothy top, shake the egg white thoroughly during the dry shake phase.
