Equipment
- Wine Glasses
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 large peach sliced
- 2 ounces vodka
- Soda water
- 1/2 ounce honey or simple syrup optional, for sweetness
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Muddle the Blueberries and Peaches:
- In a shaker, add the blueberries, peach slices, and honey or simple syrup. Muddle them together to release the juices and flavors.
- Pour the vodka into the shaker with the muddled fruit.
- Add a few ice cubes to the shaker. Close the lid and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds.
- Fill two glasses with ice cubes.
- Strain the mixture from the shaker into the prepared glasses, dividing evenly. The straining will keep most of the fruit pulp and seeds out, but a few pieces in the drink can add character.
- Top each glass with soda water to your taste. Stir gently to mix the vodka and fruit flavors with the soda.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a few whole blueberries or a peach slice on the rim of the glass.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing taste of your homemade Blueberry and Peach Vodka Spritzer.
