Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Blueberries plus extra for garnish
  • 2-3 sprigs Thyme plus extra for garnish
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp Simple Syrup adjust to taste
  • 2 ounces Vodka
  • 1/2 cup Soda Water

Instructions

  • Muddle the Ingredients:
  • In a cocktail shaker, muddle the blueberries and thyme sprigs with the lemon juice and simple syrup. You want to break the blueberries down to release their juice and the thyme to infuse its flavor.
  • Add Vodka:
  • Pour the vodka into the shaker.
  • Shake:
  • Add a handful of ice cubes to the shaker. Seal and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to chill and mix the ingredients well.
  • Strain:
  • Strain the mixture into a highball glass filled with ice, making sure to catch the solids.
  • Top with Soda Water:
  • Gently top the glass with soda water to fill.
  • Garnish and Serve:
  • Garnish with a few fresh blueberries and a sprig of thyme. Give a gentle stir to combine everything lightly and serve immediately.
