For the Blueberry Lavender Syrup:

  • 8 oz blueberries
  • 8 oz sugar
  • 8 oz water
  • 1/2 oz dried lavender or 1-2 sprigs fresh lavender

For the Spritzer:

Instructions

Blueberry Lavender Syrup:

  • Combine Ingredients: In a medium saucepan, combine 8 oz blueberries, 8 oz sugar, 8 oz water, and the lavender.
  • Cook: Stir the mixture over medium heat, or until the sugar is fully dissolved and the blueberries have broken down.
  • Strain: Remove from heat and strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl, pressing on the solids to extract all the liquid.
  • Cool: Let the syrup cool to room temperature. You can store any leftover syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Blueberry Lavender Spritzer:

  • Mix: In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz vodka, 1 oz blueberry lavender syrup, and 1 oz lemon juice. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well.
  • Pour: Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.
  • Top: Add 3 oz club soda to the glass and stir gently to combine.
  • Garnish: Garnish with fresh blueberries and a sprig of lavender.
