Try this Cherry Gin Fizz recipe for a refreshing blend of tart cherries and smooth gin. Perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz simple syrup
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen cherries pitted
  • 1 egg white optional, for a frothier texture
  • Club soda
  • cherries and lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Cherries:

  • In a cocktail shaker, muddle the fresh or thawed cherries until they are thoroughly mashed and release their juices.

Mix the Drink:

  • Add the gin, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white (if using) to the shaker with the muddled cherries.
  • Fill the shaker with ice cubes.

Shake it Up:

  • Shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to chill the ingredients and create a frothy texture if using egg white.

Strain and Serve:

  • Strain the mixture into a highball or Collins glass filled with ice.

Top it Off:

  • Top off the drink with club soda to add some fizz.
