Here's a simple yet delicious recipe for a Chocolate Orange Espresso Martini that you can easily make at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz espresso brewed and cooled
  • 1/2 oz chocolate liqueur
  • 1/2 oz orange liqueur you can use Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • Orange peel and grated chocolate for garnish

Instructions

  • Chill the Martini Glass:
  • Begin by chilling your martini glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and letting it sit while you prepare the drink.
  • Mix the Ingredients:
  • In a shaker, combine the vodka, cooled espresso, chocolate liqueur, and orange liqueur.
  • You can fill the shaker with ice cubes if desired.
  • Shake:
  • Seal the shaker tightly and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds. This not only chills the mixture but also ensures that all the flavors are well combined.
  • Prepare the Glass:
  • Discard the ice water from your martini glass to ensure it’s perfectly chilled.
  • Strain and Serve:
  • Strain the mixture into the chilled martini glass, ensuring a smooth pour without any ice chips.
  • Garnish:
  • Take a piece of orange peel and twist it over the drink to release its oils.
  • Rub the rim of the glass with the peel for an extra burst of citrus aroma. Garnish with the orange peel and a sprinkle of grated chocolate on top.
  • Enjoy:
  • Serve immediately and enjoy the sophisticated blend of chocolate, orange, and espresso flavors in your Chocolate Orange Espresso Martini.
