Ingredients

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • ½ ounce Cointreau or triple sec
  • 1 1/2 ounces passion fruit puree
  • 1-2 teaspoons honey optional, for sweetness
  • Half a passion fruit for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Glass:

  • Chill your martini glass by placing it in the freezer before making the drink, or fill it with ice water and set aside to chill while you prepare the ingredients.

Mix the Ingredients:

  • In a shaker, add the vodka, Cointreau (or triple sec), and passion fruit puree.
  • If you prefer a sweeter taste, add honey to your liking. This can be adjusted based on how sweet your passion fruit puree is and your personal preference for sweetness.
  • Fill the shaker with ice, covering the liquid ingredients.

Shake:

  • Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds. The vigorous shaking will chill the mixture and help blend the honey thoroughly if used.

Prepare the Garnish:

  • Cut the passion fruit into halves. Scoop out a few seeds and some pulp to use in the drink if desired, or simply use the half for a decorative garnish.

Serve:

  • If you chilled your glass with ice water, empty it now and strain the mixture into the chilled martini glass.
  • Float half a passion fruit on top of the drink or garnish with a small spoon of seeds and pulp in the center for a visually appealing and flavorful finish.
