Ingredients

  • 2 ounces peppermint vodka
  • ½ ounce coffee liqueur
  • 1 ounce freshly brewed espresso
  • ½ ounce simple syrup
  • peppermint candies or candy canes crushed (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • In a cocktail shaker, add ice, peppermint vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso, and simple syrup.
  • Shake vigorously until the mixture becomes frothy.
  • Strain the mixture into a martini glass, giving the shaker an extra shake at the end to pour out all the foam.
  • Serve immediately. For a festive touch, garnish with crushed peppermint around the rim or sprinkle a bit on top.
