Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz plum puree
  • 3/4 oz lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 1 egg white optional for a frothy texture
  • Plum slice and lemon twist for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Plum Puree:

  • Wash and pit a medium-sized plum.
  • Blend the plum in a blender or food processor until smooth.
  • Strain the puree to remove any skin and excess pulp.

Mix the Cocktail:

  • In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, plum puree, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
  • If using, add the egg white for a frothy texture.

Shake:

  • Add ice cubes to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  • If using egg white, first dry shake (without ice) to emulsify the egg white, then add ice and shake again.

Strain and Serve:

  • Strain the mixture into a chilled glass.
  • Garnish with a slice of plum and a twist of lemon.
