Bourbon meets muddled strawberries and mint, with a splash of lemon juice for zest.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz bourbon or whiskey
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 4 strawberries
  • A handful of mint leaves
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • Splash of soda water optional

Instructions

  • Start by putting the strawberries, mint leaves, and sugar in the glass. Use the muddler to mash them up until the sugar dissolves.
  • Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  • Pour in the whiskey and lemon juice.
  • If you like, add a splash of soda water for a little fizz.
  • Stir everything together, then take a mint leaf and a strawberry for garnish.
