Ingredients

  • 2 oz tequila preferably blanco
  • 1 oz apricot liqueur
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1 oz apricot nectar or apricot puree
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • Lime wedge and apricot slice for garnish
  • Salt or sugar for rimming optional

Instructions

Prepare the Glass:

  • If desired, rim your glass with salt or sugar. To do this, rub a lime wedge around the rim of the glass, then dip it into a plate of salt or sugar.

Mix the Ingredients:

  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, apricot liqueur, lime juice, apricot nectar, and simple syrup.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake well for about 15-20 seconds until the mixture is well-chilled.

Serve:

  • Fill your prepared glass with ice.
  • Strain the mixture from the shaker into the glass.

Garnish:

  • Garnish with a lime wedge and an apricot slice on the rim of the glass.
