The Blue Margarita recipe, a twist on the classic with sweet blue curaçao, fresh lime, & tequila. Perfect for summer parties.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz blue curaçao
  • 1 oz lime juice fresh is best
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • Salt for the rim of the glass
  • Lime slice for garnish

Instructions

  • Start by salting the rim of your margarita glass. Rub a lime slice around the edge and dip it in salt.
  • In a shaker, combine the tequila, blue curaçao, and lime juice. Add a good amount of ice.
  • Shake it well until the outside of the shaker feels cold.
  • Strain the drink into your prepared glass.
  • Garnish with a slice of lime.
